About the Position: As a Senior Cost Control Engineer (E2) at Hill International in Dammam, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing cost control strategies that ensure effective financial management for our projects. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data, presenting reports, and coordinating with project managers to effectively manage project costs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with project managers to track and control project costs.
- Review and approve purchase orders and expense reports.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records.
- Train and mentor cost control staff.
- Collaborate with teams to develop cost reduction initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support on cost control matters.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies.
Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Engineering.
- At least 15 years of experience in a related field.
- Extensive knowledge in project cost management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
