Join Waad Education as a Receptionist! We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to be the first point of contact for our school community. This multifaceted role combines administrative support with supervision responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of our school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a visitor log, documenting all visits with complete details and the purpose of each visit.
  • Greet all guests with a warm smile and professional courtesy.
  • Stay at your station during working hours except for emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments regarding visitors or guests.
  • Obtain scheduled visit agendas from departments and assist visitors accordingly.
  • Ensure every visitor wears a visitor badge.
  • Answer daily incoming phone calls from parents and coordinate with supervisors for swift responses.
  • Provide on-site support at external marketing events.
  • Organize guided tours for prospective parents or investors.
  • Assist with scheduling and booking small meeting spaces.
  • Maintain organized paper and electronic records.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the administration.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree; relevant coursework or training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role; experience in an educational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required.

About the Job

As a Receptionist (Front Desk), you will be responsible for ensuring that guests enjoy a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, while also managing various front desk operations to maximize guest satisfaction.

Job Purpose
This position is crucial for the daily operation of the Front Desk, ensuring every guest is treated with care and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with check-in and checkout, and manage cashiering duties.
  • Welcome guests and register them according to hotel standards, issuing room keys.
  • Ensure repeat guests and VIPs receive special recognition and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet guest requests and needs.
  • Handle guest complaints and comments effectively and tactfully.
  • Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Be alert on matters concerning in-house credit.

Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of food & beverage services as well as hotel services.
  • Be familiar with hotel safety and emergency procedures.
  • Report for duty on time and in a clean uniform.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; proficiency in Turkish, French, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Indonesian, Malaysian or Urdu with valid certification is required.
