Join our team at DallahHealth as a Pharmacy Technician!As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists with preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and managing patient records. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in accordance with the Ministry of Health regulations, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in filling pharmacy requisitions, prescriptions, and maintaining essential records.
- Order, receive, unpack, and store pharmaceuticals and supplies correctly.
- Prepackage tablets and capsules for dispensing and ensure all products are labeled accurately.
- Participate in bulk manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and operate manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare intravenous solutions and reconstitute bulk additives as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of drugs while monitoring expiration dates.
- Coordinate quality improvement programs within your responsibilities.
- Engage in patient and family education to enhance understanding of care.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Pharmacy Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements:- Essential: Knowledge of computers, pharmacy calculations, terminology, and drug classifications.
- Desirable: Two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
- Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution with a professional registration certificate.
- Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
