Role Overview:
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring that they are cost-effective and timely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with project and company goals.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle: sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding contracts.
- Analyze BOQs, specifications, and drawings to determine procurement needs.
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts for optimal price and quality.
- Ensure timely material and service delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delay issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to align procurement with project budgets and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Make strategic decisions to enhance company profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management/Logistics.
- 15 years of procurement experience, including 5 in a managerial role within construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and market prices in Saudi Arabia.
- Solid understanding of procurement procedures and documentation.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
- Valid Driving License (mandatory).
