About the Role
The client is looking to hire an Accountant for their team at Al-Hasa, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will manage financial operations in accordance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping & Financial Management: Record day-to-day financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and monitor project costs.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor invoices and client payments, and maintain aging reports.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Ensure timely filing of VAT returns and assist in Zakat filing.
  • Banking & Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flows.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage stock valuation and maintain accurate cost tracking.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS, profit & loss statements, and support budgeting activities.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA, CMA, or SOCPA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi VAT and WHT regulations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, with a preference for retail or trading sectors.
  • Strong experience in handling international vendors and import transactions.
  • Proficient in three-way matching principles.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (*, Dynamics 365, SAP) is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and possesses problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the KSA business environment.
  • Understanding of VAT implications related to accounts payable and imports.
  • Professional accounting certifications are a bonus.
