Job Overview: This Procurement Specialist role focuses on planning and executing procurement activities, handling contracts, and managing procurement processes effectively. This position is based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement activities, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Support stakeholders by clarifying processes related to scope of work and material specifications.
  • Draft proposals to convert repetitive purchases into contracts to create value.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for mid to high spend items and pricing structures.
  • Facilitate value creation through negotiations on price, delivery timelines, and cost avoidance.
  • Conduct risk assessments regarding contract terms and conditions.
  • Review invoices, monitor contract usage, and prepare RFQs.
  • Analyze supplier bids, conduct formal bid openings, and maintain a tender control log.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Internal Audit for compliance with policies.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and perform regular performance reviews.
  • Create documentation for all procurement activities for auditing purposes.
  • Resolve disputes with contractors in collaboration with relevant departments.
Requirements:
  • 510 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Role Overview:

Your Profile:
You should have a BS or BA degree in Accounting or a relevant field, along with 57 years of accounting experience. SOCPA membership is required. Strong communication skills in English and proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP systems (like Oracle or SAP) are essential. We value an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to adapt to change and collaborate in dynamic environments.
