About the Job
The Business Development Manager at Matar Holding Company is responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market reach, and building long-term client relationships. You will lead the development and execution of strategic business plans, oversee the sales pipeline, manage key accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify new markets, segments, and opportunities to expand the company's business footprint.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead the full business cycle, including prospecting, proposals, presentations, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, and finance to ensure alignment in business objectives.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, commercial offers, and contracts.
  • Identify and implement improvements in business development processes and initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide management with regular performance reports and market insights.
  • Train, guide, and support the business development team (if applicable).

Requirements
Qualifications & Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of business development strategies, sales processes, and market research.
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and commercial terms.

Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in achieving growth targets and closing high-value deals.
  • Experience managing B2B or industry-specific clients is a plus.
  • Team leadership experience is an advantage.
