Job Overview:
The Arab House Group announces a job vacancy in Jeddah for the position of Purchasing Representative.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Good knowledge of suppliers and companies in Jeddah.
  • Searching for new suppliers, gathering price quotes, analyzing them, and negotiating contracts to ensure the best prices and quality.
  • The ability to negotiate with suppliers to reach the best prices.
  • The ability to analyze prices and update market prices.
  • Ensuring purchase orders match requests and ensuring supply in the shortest time.
  • Preparing and approving purchase orders and following up on the supply process.
  • Maintaining organized records of purchasing operations, supplier data, and invoices.
  • Providing periodic reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance to the Purchasing Manager.
Required Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in purchasing equipment, vehicles, and spare parts.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage time.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and purchasing management systems (ERP).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Note: We hope that applicants will be present in Jeddah for the personal interview.

  • Knowledge of procurement basics including RFQ, PR, PO, PI, CI, and GRN.
  • Fair business communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Procurement certification is a plus.
  • Awareness of SFDA/SASO requirements.
  • Understanding of customs clearance and the Fasah system.
