About the Role
Gad Industries, a manufacturer of low-voltage electrical supplies, wiring devices, and lighting accessories, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its operations in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1977, Gad Industries operates modern production facilities serving home, service, and industrial markets across Egypt and the wider region. This full-time, on-site position is integral to driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction within the Saudi Arabian market.
The Senior Sales Engineer will identify and pursue sales opportunities for Gad Industries' low-voltage electrical and lighting products. The role involves engaging with key accounts, contractors, consultants, and distributors, translating technical product features into customer-centric solutions, and contributing to the company's revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for Gad Industries' low-voltage electrical and lighting product portfolio.
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, contractors, consultants, and distributors.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotations and comprehensive technical offers.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and production teams for project execution and issue resolution.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and technical issues.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Support tender activities by providing necessary technical documentation and sales insights.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and generate performance reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant experience in low-voltage electrical products, wiring devices, or lighting solutions, preferably in B2B or project-based environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness for frequent customer visits and on-site technical discussions in Jeddah and surrounding areas.
