About the Role

Alsulaiman Group, an established investment group founded in 1983, is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The Group manages a portfolio of nine companies focused on addressing market needs and enhancing customer experiences. This role is key to strengthening the Group's brand presence and driving engagement through strategic digital initiatives.

Role Overview

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing online communities, and analyzing performance to improve digital engagement. This position requires collaboration with marketing, communications, customer engagement, and design teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and build connections with the target audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives.
  • Create and maintain content calendars for all relevant social media platforms.
  • Plan, create, publish, and optimize engaging content across social media channels.
  • Manage daily activities and content schedules for social media platforms.
  • Drive brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement on social media.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and social media best practices.
  • Create, edit, and publish diverse content including posts, stories, videos, graphics, and campaigns.
  • Ensure all content adheres to the organization's brand identity, tone of voice, and messaging guidelines.
  • Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and other content creators for asset production.
  • Adapt and tailor content for different social media platforms and audience segments.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers, customers, and online communities.
  • Escalate customer service issues, complaints, or potential reputational risks to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage online conversations to strengthen brand loyalty and enhance engagement.
  • Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns, promotions, product launches, and events.
  • Coordinate campaign schedules and ensure timely delivery of content assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate social media activities into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with influencer partnerships and social media collaborations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media performance metrics.
  • Monitor audience growth, engagement rates, reach, impressions, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and campaign performance.
  • Ensure all social media activities comply with company policies, brand guidelines, and regulations.
  • Monitor brand mentions and analyze online sentiment.
  • Support crisis communication and reputation management initiatives.
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professionalism in all social media communications.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, commercial, customer engagement, operations, and other relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, influencers, and vendors.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve digital engagement and brand visibility.
  • Support special projects and additional marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing are advantageous.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, current trends, algorithms, and best practices.
