Join the Em Sherif Group as a Pastry Chef! As a dynamic and enthusiastic member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious pastry items that delight our guests. You will be responsible for all pastry-related functions, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety in our kitchen.

General Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed about all Em Sherif policies and procedures.
  • Regularly update on the pastry menu and attend daily briefings.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with colleagues and uphold grooming standards.

Daily Operations:
  • Check the production schedule to determine the variety and quantity of goods to bake.
  • Create and prepare desserts following the menu guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Decorate desserts and manage the preparation of plate desserts.
  • Implement efficient kitchen processes and ensure adherence to recipe standards.
  • Monitor kitchen waste and suggest improvements.

Procurement:
  • Assist in inventory control and the requisition process for pastry goods.

Personal Skills and Abilities:
  • Commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good leadership and communication skills, capable of performing under pressure.

Work Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie.
