About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager in the Sales & Marketing Department to join Jumeirah Group.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Jumeirah Hotel.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with all your accounts to ensure that client expectations are exceeded.
  • Explore business opportunities and convert them into room nights and revenue.
  • Collate, send, and follow up proposals, contracts, and credit agreements.
  • Ensure the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy is extended to Colleagues and partners always.

About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • Essential:
    Degree in Hospitality Management
    Excellent Communication and Written Skills
    Strong sales skills, particularly strong in corporate and MICE/groups market Experience in corporate RFP
  • Desired: Leadership roles for at least 2 years in Five Star Hotels

Qualifications:
  • A college or university graduate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with connection to Power System Protection & Control.
  • High-level knowledge of SIEMENS MV switchgear portfolios, protection and automation products.
  • Good experience in handling customers from all segments of Utility, Industry, Infrastructure.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience of handling various products, systems and solutions covering mainly medium voltage switchgears.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to details.
  • High flexibility and availability for travelling and customer visits around the kingdom.
