About the Sales Manager Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Sales Manager to join our team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing sales opportunities, ensuring timely and proper business turnover for service delivery. The Sales Manager assists in leading daily sales activities, focusing on establishing long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve both sales objectives and personal sales goals.

Core Responsibilities

The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue through strategic relationship building, effective sales management, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. This position involves direct engagement with clients, internal teams, and the community to expand the customer base and optimize sales performance.

Building and Nurturing Client Relationships

  • Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to secure future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
  • Cultivate relationships within the local community to expand the customer base and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover of business to Event Management.

Sales Operations and Market Analysis

  • Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and close deals.
  • Execute and support operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence.
  • Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location-specific revenue goals.
  • Analyze the overall market, including competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Secure the most advantageous opportunities for the location based on prevailing market conditions and specific needs.
  • Understand the location’s primary target customer and service expectations to offer tailored business solutions.

Delivering Exceptional Customer Service

  • Support the company’s service and relationship strategy by delivering service excellence to foster customer loyalty.
  • Service customers to increase their share of account business.
  • Implement and uphold the company’s customer service standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics.
  • Set a positive example for guest relations.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.

Required Experience and Work Context
