About the Role
Medtronic is seeking a Sales Representative to join its Structural Heart team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role contributes to Medtronic's mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life by championing healthcare access and equity. The position involves leading with purpose and addressing barriers to innovation.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales performance within your assigned territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the adoption of Medtronic's products. This role requires a proactive approach, an understanding of the healthcare landscape, and a commitment to achieving sales targets while enhancing patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Medtronic's product line and the competitive landscape to communicate benefits and features to clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends and customer needs.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence to management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in medical sales or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and current healthcare industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory, with an expected travel commitment of 50%-70% of your time.
