Arena is an international integrated event services company dedicated to delivering exceptional event solutions. Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will report to the Commercial Director – KSA and play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the events and temporary infrastructure sector in Saudi Arabia. This role is fundamental in fostering client relationships, enhancing Arena's market presence, and aligning commercial strategies with the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business growth in KSA by targeting and securing clients requiring temporary infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network within the events, exhibitions, and governmental sectors.
  • Monitor trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals alongside the Account Manager.
  • Negotiate commercial terms to close deals and ensure seamless collaboration with delivery teams.
  • Represent Arena at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure all client interactions comply with Arena policies and Saudi regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven success in business development and client acquisition.
  • Exceptional negotiating skills and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker familiar with the KSA market landscape.
  • Consultative selling skills with strong communication abilities in both English and Arabic.
  • Proactive with a high level of initiative and commercial insight.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid KSA Driving License and fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.

A leading construction company specialized in large-scale infrastructure projects (water networks, water transmission, desalination, sewage networks, lifting stations, and related mega projects) is seeking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the company’s growth in the GCC market, with a primary focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Requirements:
  • Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 25 years of total experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Solid experience in the GCC region, with at least 10 years in Saudi Arabia, specifically in:
    • Water transmission and distribution projects.
    • Desalination-related projects.
    • Sewage networks and pipelines.
    • Pumping / lifting stations and treatment / desalination plants.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing business development strategies in the infrastructure and water sectors.
