About the role:

This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and positioning Xpandretail’s retail analytics solutions with key decision-makers across the retail and commercial sectors.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion for Xpandretail in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and positioning Xpandretail’s retail analytics solutions with key decision-makers across the retail and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across retail chains, mall operators, commercial real estate developers, and large venues in KSA.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, solution positioning, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Present Xpandretail’s analytics and data solutions as strategic tools for improving retail performance and operational efficiency.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal product, operations, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular performance and forecast reports to management.
- Represent Xpandretail at industry events, meetings, and conferences.
- Travel within Saudi Arabia and regionally as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or commercial roles.
- Fluent and highly effective communication in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian business environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within KSA.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Experience in retail, retail technology, analytics, SaaS, or data-driven solutions.
- Existing network within the retail, mall, or commercial real estate sectors in KSA.
- Experience working with international or regional brands.
