As a General Accounting Specialist, you will be involved in a range of finance-related activities aimed at ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and annual budgets.
  • Coordinate with finance departments for the reconciliation of financial data.
  • Oversee monthly financial closings and prepare financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with ALJ policies and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure accurate cash reconciliations.
  • Conduct performance discussions with team members to assist in their professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong skills in time management, problem sensitivity, and communication.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is preferable.

Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, familiarity with financial regulations and audit processes, and effective communication and problem-solving abilities are key to succeeding in this role.
