About the Sales Representative Role

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Representative will be responsible for a range of activities aimed at building and maintaining customer relationships and ensuring successful sales outcomes. This includes:

• Collecting and documenting data and specifications related to products and services.
• Developing and maintaining a database of current and prospective customers, including their contact information and addresses.
• Contacting or visiting customers to present sales offers, highlighting product specifications and competitive advantages.
• Managing the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the sale.
• Issuing invoices and collecting payments from customers.
• Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and collect outstanding debts.
• Recording and documenting collected debts, and remitting them to the finance department.
• Preparing and submitting regular work reports to management.

Sales Process Management

A core aspect of this role involves the complete management of the sales cycle. This includes verifying prices, offering discounts within authorized limits, and ensuring the smooth completion of transactions. The representative will be instrumental in securing sales and managing the financial aspects of each deal, including payment collection and debt recovery.

Customer Relationship Building
