Ejada is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the quality and performance of software applications through advanced automation testing strategies and practices.

Role Overview

The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive design, development, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and test scripts. This position directly contributes to improving testing efficiency, accelerating release cycles, and enhancing overall product quality, aligning with continuous delivery initiatives and quality engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to translate them into effective automation test scenarios and test scripts.
• Participate in software implementation, enhancement, and upgrade projects to ensure adequate test automation coverage.
• Develop and execute automated test suites as part of Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Establish and maintain reusable automation libraries, frameworks, and components across projects.
• Execute automated regression, functional, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Integrate automation testing activities into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Monitor automated test execution results, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage and track defects using approved test management and defect management tools.
• Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and ensure complete test coverage of functional requirements.
• Generate and communicate test execution reports, automation coverage metrics, quality indicators, and release readiness assessments.
• Maintain automation assets within source code repositories and follow version control best practices.
• Contribute to testing standards, automation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should demonstrate a strong background in automation engineering and software quality assurance.

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in automation testing.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for diverse application types.
• Experience with integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and various delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in defect management, root cause analysis, and generating comprehensive test reports.

Collaboration and Mentorship

The Senior Automation Engineer will engage in significant collaboration and play a role in team development.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and quality assurance teams to improve application quality.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and support team capability development through coaching and knowledge sharing.
