As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the Quality Food Safety (QFS) Management System (MS) in our plant. Your responsibilities will include ensuring product compliance with specifications through continuous monitoring, testing, and inspection. You will work closely with stakeholders to take immediate actions as necessary and support the development of competencies among your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the QFS Policy and assume all assigned responsibilities within the QFS MS.
• Conduct inspections on product quality against specifications and prepare related reports.
• Monitor adherence to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and hygiene requirements.
• Conduct behavioral safety observations as assigned.
• Note deviations and communicate with stakeholders to ensure proper action is taken.
• Support the QFS training program and conduct sanitation verification as required.
• Provide guidance and coaching to the plant team.
• Ensure calibrations of QFS control equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in chemistry, quality control or food safety (natural sciences); fresh graduates are welcome!
• Excellent command of Arabic and English; proficient in computer usage.
• Self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage and influence behaviors without a direct reporting relationship.

Join Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) as an Electronics Hardware Technician! In this role, you will be an integral part of our Product Hospital operations, focusing on product failure analysis and repairs. If you thrive on hands-on troubleshooting and are committed to delivering excellent customer support, we want to hear from you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Test, repair, convert, and troubleshoot SEL products to the component level.
• Provide technical support for SEL products to both staff and customers.
• Collaborate effectively within an international team environment.
• Develop and maintain expertise in SEL processes and products.
• Train junior personnel in troubleshooting techniques.
• Implement department objectives under your supervisor's guidance.

Required Qualifications:

• Two-year electronics engineering technology degree or equivalent.
• Strong English reading, technical writing, and speaking skills.
• Basic working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Familiarity with modern test equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with component level troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SEL equipment.
• Technical presentation skills.
• Data analysis skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 35 pounds occasionally.
• Capability to sit and stand for at least 8 hours.
