JOB SCOPE:As an Airport Lounge Barista, you will provide outstanding coffee and beverage service to passengers and visitors in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities include:
- Coffee Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages while ensuring consistent quality.
- Beverage Service: Take orders, provide recommendations, and handle special requests promptly.
- Customer Service: Create a welcoming atmosphere, engage with customers, and ensure satisfaction.
- Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and manage replenishment orders.
- Knowledge and Upselling: Educate customers about coffee options and upsell additional items as applicable.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other staff to ensure smooth operations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:We expect our Barista to have:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably as a barista.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems efficiently.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and passion for coffee.
