Join Thales as a Maintenance and NPI Technician!
As a leader in advanced technologies for the Defence, Aerospace, and Cyber & Digital sectors, Thales is dedicated to ensuring operational reliability and safety. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our field equipment performance. This position involves performing electrical and mechanical maintenance activities to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment faults.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to established maintenance schedules.
  • Report all equipment issues and recurring faults to the Maintenance Manager promptly.
  • Utilize technical drawings, manuals, and diagnostic tools accurately for maintenance activities.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies.
  • Document maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment condition diligently.
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Assist in root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualification and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills using electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance best practices.
  • Able to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities across maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
