About the Production Operator Role

Napco National is seeking a Production Operator to join their manufacturing team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 year of experience who are looking to contribute to efficient production processes. The Production Operator will be responsible for operating machinery to produce products according to precise specifications, ensuring both quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate the availability of all required documents, such as Job First Time (JFT) and Production Control Card (PCC), prior to starting a new job to minimize downtime and ensure production consistency.
• Operate designated machinery according to the Work Instruction to ensure safe and sound runnability.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and request support when necessary to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
• Check and submit startup samples to the Production Section Head for approval before passing them to Quality Control (QC) for inspection, thereby ensuring the quality of the initial production run.
• Report any identified quality defects to QC and the Production Section Head to facilitate prompt corrective actions.
• Assign tasks to machine helpers to ensure an organized production run and maintain the 5S conditions of the assigned machines and surrounding work area.

Qualifications and Requirements

• An Industrial Diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in related tasks is required.
• Knowledge of written and spoken Arabic and English is considered a plus.

This role contributes to the company's mission of developing technology and know-how to enable customers in producing essential materials and technology for a sustainable future. The position is part of the Europe, Central Asia, North Africa, and Middle East regions PCV team, operating within a multinational organization.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for key industrial equipment, including Pumps, Cyclones, and Valves, primarily within the mining industry. The role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support during equipment installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure long-term equipment performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Sales, and Project Management, to address complex technical issues.
• Support the sales team by identifying aftersales opportunities and advising customers on new equipment needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service activities, including repairs, upgrades, and customer interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• A minimum of 1 year of field service experience, with a preference for experience in the mining or cement industries.
• Hands-on experience with the maintenance, repair, and inspection of industrial equipment, specifically Pumps, Cyclones, and Valves, and ideally Knelson Concentrators.
• A strong understanding of mechanical systems; knowledge of control/automation systems is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in field environments.
• Experience in technical report writing and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region to support customer needs.
• Possession of a valid passport and driver's license.
