The job Barista Role: The barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and other beverages in a fast-paced work environment, while ensuring excellent customer service. Immediate Supervisor: Shift Leader Tasks: - Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and standards. - Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including accurately taking orders and processing payments. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee preparation area and equipment. - Monitor and restock coffee supplies, ingredients, and spices as needed. - Ensure drinks are prepared to high quality standards and presented attractively. - Educate customers about different types of coffee and preparation methods, as well as menu items. - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. - Follow health, safety, and cleanliness guidelines at all times. - Stay updated on the latest trends in coffee, techniques, and new products.
