Join Thales as a Maintenance System Engineer for the Air Defense System in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic team working on innovative solutions that enhance security and operational performance.

As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will:

  • Support the Maintenance & Technical Support Depot (MTSD) team with specialized advice and assistance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and recommend corrective actions for operational availability and system performance.
  • Evaluate performance metrics of the system and maintain data handling and communication equipment.
  • Conduct diagnostic checks, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure radar and C2 systems are operationally ready.
  • Collaborate with Contractor Experts for complex problem-solving and system readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Radar Technology.
  • Specialized training and certification in Radars and/or C2 systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French and Arabic is considered an advantage.

Experience:

  • 35 years of operational and maintenance experience with PSR/SSR Radars, C2, and communication equipment.
  • Involvement with installation, testing, integration, as well as upgrades and modifications of radar systems.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electricity/Electronics) or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verification using automatic and semiautomatic program maintenance diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with ICC, ECS, RS, CRG, IFF, AMG, GMT, LRPT, and LS systems.
