Role Description
Aanaab’s Accountant will play a vital role in its finance department. Possessing a deep knowledge of accounting and finance, the Accountant will be responsible for posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, processing monthly payroll, and preparing financial reports. Collaboration with the finance team and other departments to ensure financial accuracy will also be a critical element of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and produce a budget according to the schedule
• Calculating and preparing the Payable revenue share for all payable partners.
• Record the fixed assets additions and calculate their depreciation/amortisations.
• Reporting on the cash basis and accrual basis.
• Preparing reports and presentations as needed
• Handle all bank transactions, including the operations and financing activities.
• Record general ledger entries under supervision
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and accounting records.
• Enter financial transactions into accounting software. (Odoo)
• Preparing the monthly withholding taxes
• Ensure the quarterly reports are ready to be submitted to the Legal auditors on time
• Support the Legal accountant to prepare ZAKAT returns, withholding taxes, other taxes applicable, and requirements.
• Processing purchase requests and contracts and ensuring timely follow-up on payment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 3 years of prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
• Proficiency in financial software, tools, and accounting systems
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and tax requirements in Saudi Arabia
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are considered a plus
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

About the Role
The role aims to be recognized as a trusted finance team member. This position supports the finance lead in all training and development activities to develop best-in-class finance professionals and assists in developing their finance team. The role also supports a robust control and compliance environment and contributes to implementing EMEA Operations Finance innovations and projects.

Accountant (Tamheer Program)
The entity announces the availability of a training opportunity through the Tamheer program to join the accounting team. This opportunity targets recent graduates holding a bachelor's degree in accounting or its equivalent, aiming to develop their practical skills and gain professional experience in the field of accounting.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assisting in recording daily entries and preparing accounting records.
• Supporting the team in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
• Following up on invoicing, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
• Contributing to the preparation of budgets and analytical reports.
• Organizing and archiving financial documents according to approved policies.
• Dealing with accounting systems and financial management software.
• Any other accounting-related tasks assigned to the trainee.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related financial specialty.
• Recent graduate (no prior experience required).
• Registration in the Tamheer program or meeting its conditions.
• Good skills in using computers and Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
• Ability to work within a team and adhere to deadlines.
• Good analytical skills and accuracy in dealing with numbers.

Basic Conditions of the Tamheer Program:

• The applicant must be of Saudi nationality.
• The applicant must be a recent graduate.
• It is required that the total duration of their registration in social insurance does not exceed one year.
• The applicant must not be registered in social insurance during the last 6 months.
• The applicant must not have previously benefited from the Tamheer program.
• A certified educational certificate must be available.
• Meeting the requirements of the training entity.
