Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, comparing technical and financial terms.
• Review supplier invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders and contracts before approval.
• Record financial and procurement transactions in the accounting system (Odoo) and follow up on payments and disbursements.
• Monitor supplier balances, monthly purchase expenses, and prepare necessary financial reports.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to determine needs and specifications.
• Manage and update governmental and administrative platforms related to company operations.
• Perform assigned administrative tasks efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Contribute to the development of financial and administrative procedures to ensure compliance and transparency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting.
• Previous experience in a contracting or construction company is preferred.
• Good knowledge of financial and administrative systems (preferably Odoo).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate between financial and administrative functions.

About the Role: KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is seeking a skilled Field Accountant to support a multi-year general maintenance services contract for the Petro Rabigh Polymer I and II plants located in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing accounting policies and procedures, overseeing financial operations at the job site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various accounting functions, including billing, revenue recognition, project financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in alignment with company policy.
• Communicate regularly with managers and stakeholders across KBR’s global offices.
• Ensure compliance with controls and regulations including SoX/business controls.
• Support project operations through administrative tasks such as data entry and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in project accounting, and experience with systems like SAP and MS Office.

Role Description
Aanaab’s Accountant will play a vital role in its finance department. Possessing a deep knowledge of accounting and finance, the Accountant will be responsible for posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, processing monthly payroll, and preparing financial reports. Collaboration with the finance team and other departments to ensure financial accuracy will also be a critical element of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and produce a budget according to the schedule
• Calculating and preparing the Payable revenue share for all payable partners.
• Record the fixed assets additions and calculate their depreciation/amortisations.
• Reporting on the cash basis and accrual basis.
• Preparing reports and presentations as needed
• Handle all bank transactions, including the operations and financing activities.
• Record general ledger entries under supervision
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and accounting records.
• Enter financial transactions into accounting software. (Odoo)
• Preparing the monthly withholding taxes
• Ensure the quarterly reports are ready to be submitted to the Legal auditors on time
• Support the Legal accountant to prepare ZAKAT returns, withholding taxes, other taxes applicable, and requirements.
• Processing purchase requests and contracts and ensuring timely follow-up on payment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 3 years of prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
• Proficiency in financial software, tools, and accounting systems
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and tax requirements in Saudi Arabia
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are considered a plus
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
