Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Automation) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a reputed elevator company.
• A valid GCC driving license is an advantage.
• Basic IT and digital skills are preferred.

Vanderlande is the global market leader in baggage handling systems, known for its innovation in the logistics sector. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Jeddah site.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance duties and reactive calls to our Material Handling System, ensuring productivity, equipment asset availability, health & safety compliance, and quality.

Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoots and repairs machinery and electrical equipment, including motors, electrical circuits, and baggage handling systems.
• Exercises safe working practices according to Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Executes Emergency and Corrective Maintenance.
• Completes service reports and parts usage documentation.
• Researches and requests spare parts as needed.
• Independently corrects standard faults and assists less experienced technicians.

Your Qualifications:

• Diploma or Higher in Electrical/Electromechanical.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electro-mechanical maintenance.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC systems.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Proactive attitude toward process improvement.

Other Requirements:
Must obtain and sustain an Airport ID Badge.
