Responsibilities:
  • Operate and manage the pastry section of the kitchen.
  • Prepare ingredients and handle baking equipment efficiently.
  • Create pastries and confections by following set recipes.
  • Develop new recipes for seasonal menus, ensuring variety and creativity.
  • Decorate pastries and desserts for appealing presentations.
  • Meet with customers to design custom-made pastries for special events like weddings.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of baking ingredients, and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the kitchen.
  • Supervise and train staff members as required.
