We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage all purchasing activities, cultivate vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the procurement process from identifying needs to finalizing purchases.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to fulfill departmental needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to support decision-making.
- Stay informed about international trade regulations and customs affecting procurement.
- Continuously improve purchasing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally within the Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a successful track record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Understanding of local business practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Professional certification such as CPM or CPSM is preferred.
