Job Description
About the Role
Al-Futtaim is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager to join its Elevators Division in Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market reach, and building relationships within the construction industry. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage the sales process, and ensure customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, requiring a Saudi National with over 10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new customers, actively seeking new sales opportunities for the Elevators Division.
- Develop and implement strategic action plans to approach and secure new business.
- Achieve revenue and unit sales targets through effective sales process management, customer retention, and sales development strategies.
- Develop and maintain a strong brand image and prequalify the brand with industry consultants.
- Cultivate and nurture working relationships with key consultants and contractors within the construction industry.
- Proactively manage customer requirements, ensuring on-time delivery by considering lead-times, product specification changes, and customer demand.
- Manage all aspects of the individual sales process, including estimation, quotation preparation and submission, negotiation, and the submission and approval of shop drawings and technical submittals.
- Collect and analyze market data to understand reasons for lost projects.
- Stay current with the latest regulations, standards, and best working practices within the Elevators and Escalators industry.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- An Engineering Degree or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar sales account management role.
- A valid KSA Driving License.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in sales process management and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork and motivational capabilities.
Work Location and Details
This is a full-time position based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a Saudi National with over 10 years of relevant experience in a sales account management capacity within the construction industry.
