House of Shipping is a leading provider of business consultancy and advisory services to clients in the maritime, shipping and logistics industries. We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

About the Role:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, canvassing cargoes for all trade lanes to achieve target liftings, and expanding our market presence. You will maintain existing clientele and develop new business opportunities, driving sales performance and achieving key performance indicators.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coach and develop the sales team.
  • Drive sales performance within the team.
  • Prepare sales and marketing budgets.
  • Develop strong business relationships with customers.
  • Achieve targets for TEU and revenue per vessel.
  • Submit reports on sales activities and market intelligence.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
  • Travel as needed for business.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 510 years of experience in a similar role within the Container Shipping industry.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven track record in sales with a stable work history.
  • Leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented and self-driven.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Experience: 15+ years in FMCG Sales & Distribution with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Qualification: MBA in Sales/Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen and operational understanding of logistics. Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple stakeholders. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Familiarity with ERP/CRM tools and modern sales reporting systems.
