About the Role
Agoda, a part of Booking Holdings, is seeking a Workday Functional Specialist with a focus on the Time Tracking module. This role is part of the Global Service Delivery (GSD) team, which supports Agoda's global infrastructure and staff connectivity across 10 countries. The GSD team provides 24/7 support and utilizes cloud management technologies. As the Workday Time Tracking Specialist, you will be the primary expert for the efficient operation, scalability, and compliance of the Time Tracking module, which impacts payroll and regulatory adherence. You will also contribute to other HRIS platforms and Workday domains, strengthening Agoda's People Technology foundation. This position involves partnering with People and IT teams to translate business requirements into Workday solutions that enhance the employee experience and optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and ongoing maintenance of the Workday Time Tracking module, including time entry rules, validation logic, work schedules, time calculations, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions that improve the employee experience.
- Manage reporting, calculated fields, and security configurations to provide accurate insights into time entries, exceptions, overtime, and pay-impact data.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), configuration guides, and process maps.
- Gain opportunities to work across other Workday domains and internal tools based on project needs.
- Stay informed about new Workday releases and people technology trends to identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of internal tools and technologies beyond Workday.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Workday, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years specifically focused on Time Tracking configuration, rules, and reporting.
- Deep expertise in Workday Time Tracking setup, including time entry codes, calendars, work schedules, validation rules, time calculations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Workday Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields.
- A solid understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) fundamentals, including business processes and configuration concepts.
- Working knowledge of Workday Security, including roles and segmented security.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process efficiency and data integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in an international or fast-paced environment
- Workday Certification(s) in Time Tracking, Payroll, or HCM are advantageous.
- Interest in expanding knowledge beyond Workday into other people technology platforms and tools.
Location and Work Type
This full-time role can be based in Bangkok, Gurgaon, or Kuala Lumpur. Relocation assistance to Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia is provided. The position offers hybrid working options and a 30-day work-from-anywhere benefit.
