About the Role

Nahdi Medical Company is seeking a specialized Nursing Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the nursing team to ensure the highest standards of patient care are consistently met across all shifts. The role requires a proactive approach to managing daily operations, providing direct patient care, and supporting the overall efficiency of the clinic.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead the nursing team during assigned shifts, ensuring high-quality, individualized nursing and personal care is provided to patients according to their specific needs and abilities.
  • Provide comprehensive medical and nursing care to patients, offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Manage patient documentation, assist physicians in patient diagnosis, and provide basic counseling and follow-up care.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and hygiene guidelines and regulations.
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels of medical equipment and consumables, ensuring their readiness and availability within the clinics.
  • Disinfect clinical surfaces and equipment at the start of each day and after each patient encounter.
  • Receive and direct patients to examination rooms.
  • Take and accurately document patients' medical history.
  • Screen patients for risks such as falls, malnutrition, and functional decline.
  • Triage patients in the emergency room to accurately classify their emergency condition.
  • Perform simple wound dressings.
  • Monitor patients under observation.
  • Prepare and administer intramuscular and intravenous medications under sterile conditions.
  • Accompany patients during ambulance transfers when necessary.
  • Assist physicians in performing patient examinations and procedures.
  • Closely follow infection control guidelines for managing patients and their bodily fluids.
  • Draw blood samples from patients for laboratory tests in the emergency room.
  • Monitor inventory of consumables to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of medical equipment.
  • Orient newly assigned nurses to the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the required nursing workforce is available daily.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure high-quality patient care is delivered.
  • Supervise the work of registered nurses, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for nurses.
  • Serve as a member of a community advisory board.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized nursing college.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduation experience in a clinical setting.
  • An additional 2 years of experience as a Nursing Supervisor in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in using Health Information Systems.
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in both English and Arabic.

Work Environment and Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring 100% indoor work. Workdays are 6 days a week with one day off. Working hours are 8 net hours daily, according to the shift schedules approved by the department head.
