About the Role

KAFAAT Recruitment is seeking a Sales Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for driving sales growth within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, managing sales teams, and developing strategies to increase market share.

Role Overview

The Sales Manager will focus on achieving revenue targets, strengthening relationships with distributors and customers, and ensuring the effective execution of sales plans in a dynamic consumer goods environment. The position requires a proactive approach to market engagement and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet volume, value, and distribution objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate the sales team to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and merchandising across the market.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Uphold company policies, pricing guidelines, and trade terms.
  • Lead key negotiations and efficiently resolve customer or distributor issues.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead sales teams effectively.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Solid understanding of FMCG distribution models and retail channels.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and develop actionable plans.
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators including sales revenue and volume growth, market share expansion, distribution coverage, team performance against targets, and customer satisfaction and retention.
