Main Responsibilities:
  • Create a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Develop and refine recipes while experimenting with new ingredients.

  • Source and manage high-quality ingredients while maintaining inventory levels.
  • Monitor the quality of all pastries and desserts to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • 8-10 years of professional experience as a pastry chef or similar role.

The Role

Key Areas of Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pastry culinary, ensuring all baked goods, desserts, and pastries consistently meet the highest quality and brand standards.
  • Lead, supervise, train, and mentor the pastry team, ensuring adherence to all procedures, recipes, and standards for preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient production of all pastry items, maintaining consistency in quality, quantity, and execution across all outlets and service periods.
  • Take full ownership of menu development, collaborating with culinary leadership to create innovative, seasonal, and signature dessert offerings that elevate the overall guest experience.
  • Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring accurate forecasting, proper stock rotation, and timely ordering to maintain uninterrupted operations.
