This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in baking techniques and production management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily baking operations, including production schedules and ingredient preparation.
- Lead and mentor a team of bakers, providing guidance and training.
- Develop and maintain standard recipes and procedures for product consistency.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop new product offerings.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards.
- Troubleshoot issues related to equipment and production processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
Qualifications:- Degree or certificate in culinary arts.
- 5 years’ experience as a chef.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local language(s) is a plus.
- At least one year in a supervisory role or equivalent experience.
