Join the Leylaty Group as a Waiter/WaitressAs a key member of our service team, the Head Waiter/Waitress will oversee catering operations and banquet events, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all table settings, buffet stations, and service points are properly arranged as per Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Inspect the venue for cleanliness and setup before the arrival of guests.
- Oversee timely food and beverage service to maintain high guest satisfaction levels.
- Attentively cater to VIP guests, managing special requests with discretion and professionalism.
- Report any guest feedback or issues encountered during service to the Banquet Management Team.
- Monitor staff grooming, hygiene, and uniform compliance.
- Conduct site inductions for agency staff and complete relevant documentation.
- Assist Event Managers in training new team members on catering service techniques.
- Supervise and coordinate event staff, ensuring efficient operations.
- Complete closing duties, including cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain an inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required. A diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Food & Beverage is preferred.
- Training certification in food safety and hygiene is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is beneficial.
Experience:- 4 to 6 years of experience in food & beverage service within hospitality environments.
- 1 year in a supervisory role managing teams during large-scale events.
- Experience handling VIP and VVIP guests with understanding of protocols.
- Familiarity with different service styles (*, buffet, plated).
