Pool Technician to join our esteemed engineering team at Nujuma a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
Position Summary:As a Pool Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by promptly addressing repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending to guest repair requests and resolving maintenance issues.
- Performing preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Conducting visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines.
- Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts as needed.
- Using the Lockout/Tagout system for safety in maintenance work.
- Executing basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, and housekeeping items.
- Communicating daily activities and challenges to other shifts.
- Following company safety and security policies, reporting hazards, and completing safety training.
Preferred Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Some experience in general maintenance, with a focus on interior and exterior surface preparation and painting.
- Experience in hotel engineering is a plus.
Required Qualifications:- A valid Driver’s License.
