Job Responsibilities:- Develop new and innovative concepts in Oriental menus.
- Participate in menu planning as appropriate.
- Supervise oriental kitchen operations and day-to-day activities.
- Direct and monitor preparation of all oriental dishes.
- Taste sauces to ensure the correct flavors.
- Ensure that all Oriental dishes are served correctly and waste is minimized.
- Maintain daily communication with the Executive Chef regarding all relevant operational information.
- Consider local requirements, market needs, new trends, recipes, and food costs.
- Inspect kitchen work stations and oversee food presentation on all buffets.
- Review all requisitions for food and supplies.
- Ensure the proper training and guidance for kitchen staff.
Qualifications:- Understanding of different culinary profiles and techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions without variation.
- Desire to learn new flavors and techniques.
- Capability to work safely, efficiently, and neatly.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
