Job Purpose:
Provides support and executes the assigned tasks and responsibilities to optimize project costs, ensure compliance with contracts, and enhance value for the organization through rigorous quantity surveying, market analysis, and effective review of Request for Proposals (RFPs).

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in reviewing RFPs from internal departments, assessing project requirements, ensuring alignment with specifications and standards, and challenging quantities and costs to optimize project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Provide support in surveying market costs for materials, labor, and services to benchmark against proposed project costs and identify potential savings, enhancing cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide support in ensuring that proposed project costs and specifications comply with organizational standards, industry norms, and legal requirements, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Provide support in developing and implementing cost control strategies to prevent project budget overruns, closely monitoring expenses throughout project lifecycles.
  • Provide support in identifying opportunities for project cost optimization without compromising quality, efficiency, or compliance, fostering resource efficiency.

About the Role:

  • 24 years of proven experience in procurement (local and/or international).
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
