We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our growing team at Sela for Power, Automation & Safety Systems. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales capabilities to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Support: Identify customer needs and provide technical consultation. Support the sales team in pursuing new business opportunities.
- Technical Proposal Preparation: Prepare technical and commercial proposals, deliver presentations, and respond to RFPs/RFQs.
- System Design & Solution Engineering: Analyze customer requirements and design tailored solutions, collaborating with engineering and operations teams.
- Vendor & Product Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, evaluate products, and recommend best-fit solutions.
- Project Coordination: Act as a liaison between customers and implementation teams, ensuring timely and accurate solution delivery.
- Follow-up & Negotiation Support: Support sales negotiations with technical expertise and clarify technical and commercial requirements.
- Market Research & Business Development: Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to support business growth initiatives.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical documentation and reports, maintaining sales and project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales Engineering / Pre-Sales / Technical Sales.
- Strong technical knowledge in Networking, Cloud, Software, Mechanical, or related fields.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in proposal preparation and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
