What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Head Baker or in a senior bakery role.
• A relevant trade or commercial cookery qualification.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Organizational skills to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair temperature and air quality control systems.
• Repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems in the hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Check performance of refrigeration systems and components.
• Maintain door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Cooperate with engineering colleagues on detecting failures and setup functions.
• Control venting of CFCs to the atmosphere.
• Complete tasks as per local technical regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:
You should ideally have a diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or building services engineering, with prior experience in a similar role. A good command of English and troubleshooting skills are essential.
