About the Role

Core Responsibilities

The Cleaning and Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of housekeeping operations. This includes ensuring that all facilities are maintained in a tidy and clean condition, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Manage the schedule of housekeeping services to ensure efficient operations.
• Plan and prepare employee work schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
• Supervise staff during their duties, which include activities such as dusting, sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, and changing linens.
• Encourage and ensure the implementation of all housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other necessary materials.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in housekeeping supervision or a related field. A thorough understanding of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and staff management is essential.
