Role Overview:
The Customer Service Agent at DSV will be integral in providing outstanding customer service by ensuring operational excellence in freight operations. Your main responsibility will be to manage proper documentation and facilitate efficient handling of all freight activities for both current and potential clients.

The Customer Service Agent at DSV will be integral in providing outstanding customer service by ensuring operational excellence in freight operations. Your main responsibility will be to manage proper documentation and facilitate efficient handling of all freight activities for both current and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class customer service to all DSV customers.
- Interact with customers and vendors to establish DSV SOPs and keep them informed about arrival times, delays, or transit issues.
- Ensure timely and professional communication through the appropriate channels for both internal and external correspondence.
- Send routing information, follow up with origins, and keep customers updated on status until freight arrives in Saudi Arabia.
- Update tracking sheets daily with freight status and communicate this to customers.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and maintain updated records in the Export Rate sheet.
- Create jobs for all export shipments and provide quotations for inquiries.
- Regularly monitor, report, and communicate with customers, carriers, and vendors.
- Provide updates to the Line Manager and handle any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in freight operations.
Competencies:
- Exceptional spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
