Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing, reporting, and compliance processes.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing results and identifying trends.
- Prepare timely financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
- Support internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors and regulators.
- Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering professional development and high performance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability, reduce costs, and support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 35 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Strong experience with financial software systems.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic development.
