Job Responsibilities:

• Handle all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels with professionalism.
• Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings through personalized recommendations.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, ensuring preferences and requests are captured correctly.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Sales teams to support smooth operations.
• Manage room allocations and special requests with attention to detail.
• Support VIP bookings and ensure bespoke arrangements.
• Process payments and billing information accurately.
• Respond to guest queries regarding rates and hotel facilities.
• Promote upsell opportunities including room upgrades and dining experiences.
• Assist with group reservations as required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Previous experience in Reservations or Guest Services, preferably in luxury hotels.
• Proficiency in reservation systems and Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh, the Reservations Agent is responsible for overall guest satisfaction by greeting guests warmly and anticipating their individual needs. Responsibilities include processing and confirming guest reservations, maintaining effective communication regarding reservations, and ensuring smooth service delivery across different departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer the hotel’s main telephone number and assist guests and colleagues accordingly.
• Process and confirm guest reservations for rooms, food and beverage, and spa services.
• Maintain established filing systems for all correspondence.
• Document and accommodate special requests from guests.
• Support customer loyalty and property’s brand standards through excellent service.

Your role as a Reservations Agent is crucial in providing exceptional service to our guests. We are looking for passionate and dynamic individuals who excel in customer service and can offer creative solutions to enhance our guests’ experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and confirm guest room reservations made by clients through phone, letter, or fax.
• Input all reservations into the computer, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Address inquiries, complaints, and requests related to reservations.
• Stay updated with all hotel promotions and follow established procedures for processing reservations.
• Demonstrate complete product knowledge and manage rates effectively.
• Maintain filing systems for correspondence and prepare reports as needed.
• Promote good public relations and strive to maximize business.
• Ensure accurate room status information is maintained at all times.
• Answer incoming calls and process information received via fax and email promptly.
• Organize visa requests for hotel guests in accordance with hotel policy.
• Upsell services whenever possible.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in the hospitality field and previous experience in hotel reservations. You should be computer literate and possess excellent communication skills, along with proficiency in written and spoken English. Additional language skills are a plus.
