We are excited to announce an opportunity to work with a leading AI lab on an innovative project that aims to enhance AI models' understanding of language through cultural knowledge and native language expertise. As a Translator, your contributions will play a crucial role in training generative artificial intelligence models.

Project Overview:
  • Engage in text, image, and video data annotation.
  • Utilize your cultural knowledge to annotate according to specific guidelines.
  • Employ analytical skills for tasks such as summarizing ideas and ensuring factual accuracy in AI-generated texts.

Requirements:
  • Experience as a professional translator.
  • Strong professional writing background (copywriter, journalist, etc.).
  • Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate or graduate program in a humanities-related field.
  • Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia.

Role Details:
  • Work is fully asynchronous, allowing for flexible scheduling.
  • Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
  • Project duration is approximately 34 weeks.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop is required; Chromebooks are not accepted.

Compensation:
The pay will align with industry standards, with weekly payments made via Stripe Connect based on logged hours. You will be classified as an 'at-will' contractor with Mercor.
