Job Purpose:Provide patients and customers with the highest quality of pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and dispense pharmacy medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
- Repackage oral dosage forms for outpatient dispensing, labeling appropriately.
- Handle nearly expired medications and maintain necessary records.
- Calculate drug amounts as required for prescriptions.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.
- Manage medication stocks and maintain adequate supplies in the pharmacy.
- Ensure patient safety and safe medication management practices.
- Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions to pharmacy head.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
- Maintain stock of the Automated Storage and Retrieval Device and troubleshoot issues.
Continuous Improvement:All employees are expected to engage in continuous improvement, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:- Experience: 0 - 2 years in a hospital pharmacy setting.
- Education: Diploma in Pharmacy.
- Language: Good command of English and Arabic.
- Licenses: Valid pharmacy practice license as per regional health authority requirements.
