As a Junior Procurement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement and supply chain operations.
Main Purpose of the PositionSupport and optimize procurement and supply chain operations by maintaining ERP system accuracy, analyzing data, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring efficient sourcing and inventory management.
Job Objectives- Maintain ERP System Accuracy & Inventory Control: Ensure integrity of ERP (SAP) system by setting reorder points, monitoring stock movements, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Optimize Supply Chain Processes: Streamline procurement and logistics workflows using ERP, generating reports to identify obsolete materials and ensuring timely goods receipt and order closures.
- Provide Technical Support: Act as first line of support for ERP-related issues, assisting users and coordinating with IT teams to resolve errors.
- Analyze ERP Data: Extract and analyze data to generate insights, optimize stock levels, and support better decision-making.
- Drive ERP Enhancements: Identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary upgrades.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with various teams to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of materials.
- User Training and Compliance: Conduct training sessions to promote best practices in ERP usage.
- Support Procurement Activities: Assist in vendor sourcing, bid evaluation, purchase order creation, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant ERP certifications (*, AP MM) and supply chain certifications (*, CIPS, CPSM) are preferred.
