Key Responsibilities:- Process all lab requisitions, forms, and specimens for routine and reference tests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify patients correctly and properly perform venipuncture to collect blood samples following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all patient and specimen collections.
- Enforce laboratory safety rules and report any potential hazards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area and ensure an adequate supply of collection equipment.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and communicate professionally with patients and colleagues.
Education / Professional Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratories, Biochemistry, or Microbiology.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist.
- Required license: Laboratory technician or specialist.
